A group of paramedics on their way to a wedding in Sing Buri City, Thailand, were praised for stopping to help in an accident – and they didn’t mind getting late for the event or having their formal clothes ruined as they treated the people in need of help!

The Sing Buri City Ruamkatanyu Volunteer Foundation through its Facebook page “Volunteer Foundation, Ruamkatanyu, Singburi, city point – down front base, team” shared photos taken at the site of the accident.

The off-duty paramedics were using their paramedic van as they headed to a friend’s wedding when they witnessed an accident involving several motorists. While they could be late for the wedding if they stopped, the paramedics believed that the lives of these injured motorists came first than their friend’s wedding.

So, they immediately got out of the van and treated those involved in the crash. It was actually quite lucky that they were using the paramedic van because they had all the supplies needed to treat those who were injured.

Thankfully, they were able to work fast to save these people and would be able to resume their journey some minutes later – but only after they were finished treating all those who were involved in the accident. Isn’t that awesome?
