Actor JC Devera and his non-showbiz fiancée Rikkah Cruz wowed with their vintage style prenup photos that showcase some of beautiful period architecture from Old Manila.
Prenup at Jones Bridge
Soon-to-be bride Rikkah was a vision in white as she donned her Francis Libiran gown in the photoshoot while JC looks dapper in a gray suit by Edwin Tan. Their choice of wearing creations by top local designers earned praise, especially because they do look stunning in their pictures.
It’s like they’ve transported back in time but with a modern twist. You would have thought that some of the photos were scenes and posters taken from a vintage movie!
On Jones Bridge in Binondo, the couple posed by the iconic lampposts, showcasing the beauty of this historic infrastructure. And while they can’t stop the traffic from coming and going, the lights from the passing vehicles made the perfect backdrop from their pictures.
Prenup at Intramuros
The two also had a prenup shoot in the walled city of Intramuros, again wearing period creations that perfectly achieved the historic look they wanted for this moment.
Wedding Plans
For the longest time, JC kept his long-time relationship with Rikkah a secret – even after they had a baby; though he released photos of their baby, Lana Athena, in July 2018. But now that they are getting married, JC seems ready to not just take their relationship to the next level but to also be more open about it to the public.
“For the longest time, kini-keep ko yung mga relationship ko. Pero ngayon kasi confident talaga ako na pag-usapan ‘to ngayon. Alam ko kung saan kami papunta. Gusto ko talaga siya ipagmalaki sa mundo,” JC said.
When asked about the actual wedding plans, JC said that this would still be a private, out-of-town event where their daughter won’t be a flower girl but a ‘little bride’.
“Ayoko siyang maging flower girl, gusto ko siya yung little bride at ihahatid siya ng dalawa kong brother-in-law,” he said.
