The Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings’ 2020 Wedding Showcase held at Disneyland on February 1 was a great chance for couples to get an idea of cake designs and even sample a few flavors! There was so much to explore at the exhibit, including design ideas on how to arrange the place for the wedding, including ‘magical’ gazebos, Cinderella’s Glass Coach for Instagrammable photos, and so much more.
But the Disney wedding cakes were among the highlights of the event. After all, everyone wants to see the cake in weddings, right?
At the grand exhibit, there were plenty of cakes to admire – and one can really find the best cake to match their wedding them.
There were minimalistic cakes that only had a couple of subtle designs placed on a white cake. But the others were grand and huge! There were those that resemble castles and some that can turn into a ‘screen’ for projection mapping.
With so many cakes to choose from, brides would surely have a lot to think about in terms of which Disney Princess she would like to be for the wedding – and which cake to have. The massive cake with the gorgeous replica of Sleeping Beauty’s castle as its topper is one of the crowd favorites. Featuring light blue fondant icing and pink floral accents, this whimsical Disney cake is an elegant choice for any bride.
But the cute Mickey and Minnie cakes are also well-received. Which ones did you like best?
