Bride Goes Viral For Working on her Laptop, Ignoring Groom During Wedding

We all look forward to that special day when will formally begin our “forever” with the person to whom we would like to spend our whole life with. But what if our task at work suddenly gets in the way?

In an article published on RachFeed, it was reported that a video of a bride from India has been making rounds online; showing her working on her laptop and ignoring her groom during their wedding, drawing different reactions from a lot of people online.

“If you think you are under work pressure, then watch this…via WA @hvgoenka,” @dineshjoshi70
wrote in the caption of the video he uploaded.

A lot of social media users expressed what they felt and shared what came to their minds after watching the 13-second clip.

“This isn’t work pressure. It’s either a greedy company or an inefficient employee, or a combination of both. Please don’t make this as a benchmark four your company or your employees,” @ArpitChokhani tweeted.

“Typical Indian attitude towards professional work. This is more to impress the immediate and extended social circle. High time we call out such fake being busy/highly committed imagery,” @Anil4Joseph said.

“Wedding is a special occasion. As a company owner, if you have to ask your employee to start her laptop and start to work on such a special time, then you have to close your company. And as an employee if your boss asked to work, then I suggest that you must kick off that,” @GoldenLeafIT commented.

“Hope she was not submitting an excel sheet to her boss!” @factfinder1970 thought.

Meanwhile, some Twitter users also defended the bride and asked the netizens to stop judging her without knowing the real story first.

“In this era, we are talking about work-life balance so why we are projecting like she is handling pressure, etc. Lots of reasons to use laptop during wedding. Maybe she was trying connect or have a video call with her relatives to attend her marriage online,” @Anuragt1991 replied on the video.

As of writing, the couple has yet to release a statement regarding the viral video.
