The 26-year-old Abhijit works in a Spices company while 23-year-old Nayana is a nurse.

According to Abhijit, he doesn’t really dig social media but Nayana is ‘always online’. The bride shared that she often sees photos of her friends getting married at the beach; this is quite common considering that Kerala is set on the tropical Malabar Coast.

When the couple agreed to pay the price, the photographer readied the materials and invited them to his home where he had dug a giant pit at the backyard. He also had several assistants to take the pictures from different angles and to work on the props.

The group made sure there was water in the pit. Then props were added, such as flowers and lotus leaves, for a romantic scenery. After the initial pictures were taken, assistants used a water hose to simulate rain – and the resulting photos were so stunning that you’d think the photoshoot was done in a very expensive location!
