A lot of fast food outlets like McDonald’s offer party packages; however, that’s often just for birthdays. But in Hong Kong, you can actually get married at a McDonald’s – and they even offer impressive wedding packages for you to choose from! Whoa.

For those on a budget, a McDonald’s wedding can actually be a good idea. After all, the price is cheap, you get married in a legal manner, and there’s food for everyone. You don’t really have to go broke to get married, bear that in mind.

But what can you expect in a McDonald’s wedding? Apparently, Hong Kong has gotten so good at it that the wedding venues actually look awesome.
Depending on the wedding package you pick, you can have a cake made of apple pies or cutie options made of twisted balloons!

YouTuber Safiya Nygaard and her fiancé Tyler Williams are planning to have their wedding in the US. But while searching for options, they found the McDonald’s wedding offered in Hong Kong. Curious about it, they decided to give it a try – and were quite impressed with what the fast food could deliver in terms of hosting weddings.

Because it wasn’t really their real wedding, Safiya wore a casual white dress for the event. She had a bouquet of balloons and white rubber shoes on! Certainly, that’s not your usual wedding outfit – but they’re not having your regular wedding, either!
Their cake is made up of boxes of apple pie while heart balloons in red and pink create a romantic atmosphere.

There are options for food items you can include in the reception. Of course, bear in mind that the options are limited as you only get to pick the ones offered by the store – that would be a chicken meal, French fries, burgers, and fries. Hong Kong does offer Shake-Shake fries; that’s French fries you can coat in ramen seasoning.

For Safiya’s ‘wedding’, the couple just paid $380 for the entire package. Now, that’s really cheap, huh?
What’s great about this wedding is that it has a fast food theme that’s similar to a birthday party, but geared for weddings. For example, there were lots of games! The party was actually fun.
