Savannah Bordeau and her pet dog Finn are inseparable. So, when Savannah got married, she knew Finn had to be part of the celebration, too!
So, on the day of the wedding, Finn looked rather dapper in his special collar that resembled a human polo shirt’s collar, tied with a beautiful blue bow. He looked every part the best dog in the wedding – and he loved it!

But as much as Finn enjoyed being part of the wedding, there’s something else at the ceremony that he couldn’t resist. You see, Finn absolutely loves water!
With the venue set right beside an outdoor swimming pool, the water-loving animal just could not help but decide that he should ditch his best dog duties at the wedding to take a dip in the cool water.

Finn forgot that he was dressed up for the occasion and was supposed to behave. He couldn’t wait for the wedding to be done. While the bride and groom were busy at the altar, Finn dived into the swimming pool.
“I saw out of the corner of my eye Finn walk over to the pool. He just stood there and looked at it for a few seconds until he decided he was going to take the plunge,” Savannah shared.

The splash he made the wedding party laughing, but they didn’t mind. The wedding proceeded as planned, with Finn enjoying his dip and was taking the show a bit from the couple just a few feet away.
But just as the bride and groom were exchanging their vows, Finn decided that he was done with his swim. He found the stairs and climbed out of the pool. Making a beeline for his beloved human, Finn shook himself just as he was standing near the groomsmen!

He splashed water on these guys before running towards Savannah, finding the long skirt of wedding gown to be the best place for him to dry off. Everyone was speechless but would soon be laughing over the dog’s antics.
“It all happened so fast. I didn’t know what hit me at first until I looked down and saw a tail and legs flying everywhere. My sister panicked. I don’t think any of our family really processed what was going on until it was too late,” Savannah explained.

As for Finn? Well, he had no idea just what chaos he had brought to the wedding. Still, it was a hilarious moment that would go down in history and make the wedding a truly unforgettable one!

Check with the church and the reception venue if pets are allowed inside. Most would allow pets to participate in the ceremony, as long as there are pet sitters and the dogs are well-behaved.
