Why go for a traditional wedding when you can stand out and have fun with a Halloween-themed one? That’s what a couple recently went viral for as they chose ‘The Haunted Mansion’ theme for their wedding.

Peter and Teresa Ramsden both love Disney’s “The Haunted Mansion” – both the movie and the attraction in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. So, it was not surprising that they would actually pick the theme for their wedding, as strange as it might sound.

Sending hauntingly beautiful invitations, the couple planned the spooky wedding with the theme in mind. Instead of a pretty white cake decorated with flowers, their wedding cake had cobwebs and jack-o-lanterns with Mickey ears. The cute skeleton toppers bear the likeness of the couple, a bit.

The couple picked Bear Mountain State Park as venue for their wedding, knowing that the Bear Mountain Carousel inside the state park would make the perfect backdrop for their wedding photos. Plus, the guests were even able to ride the carousel after the wedding.

One might think this is a Halloween party or a child’s birthday party, but this wonderful wedding was simply perfect for this couple. They even had the tables decorated to match the theme.

The wedding’s haunted feel might be a little too spooky for most couples, but Peter and Teresa love everything about it!
They even dressed up their wedding party in black, while the bride wears a gown with grey tones instead of white or cream! She also had a darker shade of makeup, with her flowers matching with dark colors.

Only the little flower girl added a splash of color to the wedding party as everyone else was dressed in black. Yet this magical wedding is awesome because it’s unique and beautiful, despite the darker theme.
